Last post (because account expires in a few minutes) for a long, long time or maybe ever. Been going through the forums before I go on my merry way and something kept jumping out at me across many posts.

OK 2 things

1st- OMG I have never seen such dedicated trolls in my life. It is amazing how much time and energy you (trolls) put into disagreeing with, shouting down, or just slinging mud onto ideas and perspectives that are perfectly reasonable for discussion.

My favorites are the multi-paragraph responses that can be boiled down to ôI am aware of this because someone wrote it before you.ö

The most hilarious ones of course are those that complain their time has been wasted reading an idea they have read before. Then they spend all the time writing smarta$$ responses as opposed to a simple ôSomeoneÆs said that alreadyö or an even simpler click to the next post.

My WOW training has shown these are often the ignored or unpopular kids from high school getting their frustration out but I was always under the impression EvE was more for adults.

The fact that grown men and women are engaged in this is... funny? Lame? I dunno what the right word would be to convey my opinion of that. I pray you donÆt have children. ôDaddy, I learned the Moon revolves around the Earth!ö ôWell duh stupid, I knew that already. HereÆs a nickel- buy a clue ret@rd!ö


Anyway thatÆs just an observation.

2nd- When folks say ôIÆll keep playing until itÆs P2W and then IÆm leaving!ö Hate to tell you but ôWell duh stupid! ItÆs like that already!ö In the dark ages before Plex- Isk was not merely currency but a score. Your net assets reflected the time and effort you put into New Eden (yeah, yeah not always nit-pickers ).


Then PLEX came out and since then Isk has nothing to do with your skill, will, or substance. Now anyone can be a billionaire on day 1 so long as you throw down the cash.

Does this mean you are leaving? Of course not! You may ***** and moan but in the end you will go along with it. Every time!

The reason it is P2W now is because of you! The EvE community. When Plexes came out you (may have) whined and complained but you refused to vote with the one thing you could which was your wallet. YOU kept it profitable. YOU made it ok. YOU bought the Plexes!

Now it IS P2W and it will become more so over time because YOU wonÆt really do anything about it. It will continue to have all those little annoying issues (like tiny text, life-long bugs, half-realized innovations [FW for ex.], and development centered around MT). And why? Because of YOU!

Blaming others (devs, fanbois, CEOs, CSM, your mom) is just passing the buck.
